Hello Old Friend

Thursday, 12 November 2009

It feels like I've been away to long.
The past few weeks have been very busy, but I don't have nearly enough work to show for it.

Procrastination is to blame (partly) & a brief trip to work in Bahrain which was an amazing experience (A quick snap of Bahrain from freya's camera).
But now it's back to work & it feels good to be getting thing's done again.

If you're in dundee & are interested in material/knitting/sewing & all other fantastical fibrous thing's then pop along to the 'Fibre Exhibition' taking place in Duncan of Jordanstone College or Art.

The preview is this Friday (tomorrow) at 4pm & you can find more information over on their facebook page

I've handed in a few bits & bobs, including the matchstick tree house I put together a little while ago.
There are a lot more branches so it's looking a little more like a tree & there's also a poor wonky legged bear grazing at the bottom.

If you're in dundee tomorrow come along, or if not tomorrow, the exhibition will be running from

Friday 13 November 4pm (preview)
until
Friday 27th November 4pm

3rd Year Fine Art Corridor
Crawford Building
Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art

There will be wine/drinks & nibbles as usual.

If you're unsure where the corridor then ask at reception or have a wander & look out for the black & white tiled floor above printmaking.
